Buy the Everyday Dress and Top sewing pattern from The New Craft House. This is the perfect everyday dress and top. Pick between long or short puff sleeves and either a peplum for the top or a tiered midi skirt for the dress. Fitted on the shoulders then loose through the waist, this is the ultimate comfortable everyday style.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is ?

Suggested fabrics: Suitable for any midweight fabric with no stretch. Try a relaxed linen, cotton or double gauze.

Fabric requirements: This pattern does not fit onto 115 cm wide fabric. The dress fabric requirement is based on the short sleeve option.

Dress: 150 cm (60") wide fabric: Sizes 6 - 18, 4.1 m (4.5 yd) // Sizes 20 - 34, 4.5 m (5 yd).

Top: 150 cm (60") wide fabric: Sizes 6 - 18, 2.25 m (2.5 yd) // Sizes 20 - 34, 2.6 m (3 yd).

Sizing: UK 6 – 34. Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern has been drafted for a 5'7" (170 cm) tall person.

Notions: Matching thread; fusing; 5 cm length of cord/elastic/bias binding; one 10 mm button // Optional: 1 m of 14 mm bias binding if you do not want to make your own // Long sleeve option only: 60 cm of 2 cm wide elastic.

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (67 pages for sizes 6-18, 75 pages for sizes 20-34); A0 copy shop pattern (3 sheets for sizes 6-18, 5 sheets for sizes 20-34). Note: The bodice/sleeves and skirt/peplum are in separate files. If you do not wish to print the skirt/peplum, the designer has included a measurement chart for them instead. They are simple rectangles.
